2.3L ('83-'97) 1986 Ranger 2.3L FI issues.. pls help

i'm almost tempted to hook all 4 injectors up to the coils trigger and see if it will fire up.

That would be an interesting test. Since it is batch fire, you'd only need power from ignition on one wire and some form of pulsed ground on the other to get something out of them. Could even use that to test injectors/pump as a whole.

Provide both signals for a minute and see if you flood the cylinders...

If you are having trouble with the ignition switch, I'd almost bet the ECU relay never engages to power anything else. It should be right next to the one for the fuel pump. (Maybe the gray one?)

There should be power to the injector at all times I think and the ground is pulsed (honestly haven't looked, but that's how modern stuff works), I think I read you had about battery voltage at the computer or something which would make sense if they aren't getting grounded...

Well.. that produced no results. It kinda sputtered but after than no signs of life.
I got bored with a meter and test light, the eec is dead.

If anyone has an EEC (computer) for this 86 2.3L please let me know.
