Guys I thought I would share the results of my new floor pans and vinyl floor.

I don't have a welder or the means to properly cut out the old rusted floor pans so I laid in the new floor pans over the old and riveted in place.

If you make it into a "How To" and submit it to the Tech Articles I'm sure you will get plenty of hits...and thumbies...

I didn't see vinyl floor as an option for a 99. But in their description it says if you don't see your application listed to call them. They are nice and friendly to talk to.

The vinyl for my truck, reg cab, was $154 to my door. It came with a small section of jute insulation.

Unfortunately I didn't take very many pictures. These were the best ones. I have

What brand was the floor pans? Fit pretty good? What did you use for the sound deadening?

You might check your drip rails and make sure the caulking isn't cracked so you have to do this again too.

I looked at going back with vinyl but ended up getting carpet. Factory is tan and I didn't want black (all I could find) so once I figure out what I am doing for a trans I can put the carpet in too...

The floor pans came from Raybuck auto. They fit very nicely considering I have a layer of peel and seal between the existing floor and the new pan.
Peel and seal is a cheap option for sound deadening. It's actually a roofing product but has similar properties to dynamat. It is $17 a roll and took a little less than two rolls. I used a cheap wallpaper roller to press firmly into floor groves.

I caulked drip rails, back window and around front window to drop this problem.

Thanks!

I knew there was some household product that worked similar to dynamat, I looked all over Home Depot in the insulation section, nobody had ever heard of it.

Trying to pick out who to go with for a floor pan yet too (I think only one needs replaced at the moment)
