1983 2.3l ranger rough idles and stalled sometimes at idles

Hi,

I have a 1983 2.3l Ranger, its carbureted, its idles very rough and stalled out on me a few time at idles. Its fine at higher rpm, it just idles very rough.

I have checked and clean the air filter. I think the spark plugs, fuel filter, wires, rotor, and the electronic control module is fine, just replaces them not too long ago.

I not not sure if anyone have experienced this before, any help would be appreciated. Thank-you for your responses in advance.

Vacuum leaks or carb rebuild are possible. Timing in spec?

Timing was checked a few months ago and it was fine.
I also check for vacuum leak with carb cleaners and didnt find any.

Also, I forgot to mention I am getting about 12.5mpg and I have to press and hold the gas to get the thing started a lot of the time since it begin idling rough.
