1974 mustang 2 dizzy

Just curious to see if anyone has this distributor in their rbv. When i got my 84 b2 some color blind monkeys wired in duraspark and it wouldn't run. So at the time i was fed up with it not running and sick of fixing what they fixed i threw in a points style distributor. Now i'm having problems with the cap and rotor.... i get a new one have to file the crap out of the rotor or it breaks the cap... any insight on this?

Get a 78 mustang dizzy, vaccum advance from Autozone or a parts store and that should help you out. Be sure to get the cap adaptor and rotor. Tech library tells everything on how to get the duraspark setup right.
