16x8 Wheel

Will a 16x8 wheel with 4.62" of backspacing w/ a 225/70-16 tire fit onto my 1992 Ranger 4x4 without issue. The stock 15x7 wheel had 4.48" of backspacing w/ a 235/75-15 wheel, so by my figuring they should be somewhat similiar. Please someone correct me if I am way off base here.

What you are wanting to do will work just fine. The tires are basically the same size although the width will differ just a little. Mount them and drive on you won't see a major difference.
