I`ve got both a manual and an electric 1354 case, but no 1350. I can make the stub shaft from pieces or have a new one piece made. Stock `93 4L, 5spd with 33" tires. Anyone have any thoughts?:icon_confused:

If you can have a new one-piece shaft made, then by all means, do it.

The electric 1354 can be used for the doubler, although you'll have to come up with some creative ways to shift it (certainly not impossible, one guy here used an S-10 axle vacuum solenoid to shift his).

We (the collective RBV group) are also awaiting an RBV doubler kit from Ballistic Fabrication, a well known very high quality fabrication company......unfortunately they have a LOT on their plate and are taking their sweet time.

Has there been any updates on this, Andrew?

They have the donor parts now, but with KOH and the massive list of other R&D parts ahead of us in line, I've been told it's atleast another month away from beginning development.

Thread revival !!

I did a search for this, and couldn't find it. Do you remember where you saw it? Ive got a 1354E / 1354M combo, too.

Ballistic Fab is not developing it right now either. I'm thinking that they will never offer this kit for this community since they are always giving us the run-around.

Yup, Ballistic is no longer useful to most of the 'wheelin community... Look to D&D machine for his doubler setup on Pirate and other various forums.

I already have the D&D but will be building a BII for my son in the next few years so I will need access to another kit then. What about Ruff Stuff (I believe that's the companies name) they are on here quite a bit and seem to be very RBV friendly. Anyone have any contacts over there?

Steve

Behemoth drivetrain here in KY is working on a 1350/1354 setup.

I can get contact info of anybody is interested.

Is it just me or is D.D. machine hard as hell to contact?

Yea he's a single guy operation. Just keep phoning him. Thats the best way to get a hold of him. He is advertising that he has ranger kits in stock ready to go right now on Pirate4x4.
