1354/1354 doubler?

Behemoth drivetrain here in KY is working on a 1350/1354 setup.

I can get contact info of anybody is interested.

From what i've seen on Pirate this guy seems like a complete hack who's been ripping people off...

Yeah, Ballistic apparently burned a bunch of bridges lately (lots of discussion about it over on Pirate4x4.com)

D.D. Machine has recently posted he had a bunch of his kits in stock.

Hm. Good to know about the conman. I heard about a lot of rumors about Ballistic, but after seeing that letter, I guess it's confirmed.


Thanks for the link. I've seen that link before, but I always skipped over the S-10 part. (Ha, don't we all?) JK. Chevy is a good product, too.

I know he had nothing but issues with that vacuum shifter deal. He no longer uses it.

I wouldn't call it ripping people off, he had a hard time getting up and running and sent out a few questionable pieces, which I agree was a bad call on his part. But he did offer them the case and their money back.

I don't personally know the guy and I'm not starting a debate there are things that he has done that I didn't agree with but he's just getting going and he is putting out stuff that nobody else makes and putting an effort up to fix his mistakes. I talked to him on the phone and through email and he's an honest guy just trying to make a living.

As I said I have no horse in this race other then what I have planned for my own rig, but I'll give him kudo's for going out on a limb to get into the 4x4 industry and trying hard to keep people happy which as we all know is impossible.

Not so much the 4X4 industry, just Pirate4X4. The last thing you wanna happen is to have your non perfect product show up on Pirate.

But as I said he is trying to put some new stuff together including a 1350/1354 setup, I haven't done it personally but I've read the nightmares of trying to get ahold of D&D which is just crazy. Email or call this guy and within 24hrs you have a response.

I'll be heading to leitchfield here in a week or two to check out his shop and talk with him, as I said I wasn't happy with what was going on at first but I'm willing to give him a second chance and see how things go.

He's going to be building me a Klune style doubler with a 1356 planetary set mated to a twin sticked 205.

And all I want is someone to build a damn 1350/54 to D20 doubler....the kits duffy sells are too long to fit in a ranger with stock fuel tank.

How did you make out with the doubler? I just ordered the 1354/1354 doubler off of him.

I got lucky last year and found a D&D setup about 30 minutes from me. The guy I bought it off of told me it took him a year to get. I know he is also on ebay.
