I have the 1350, and my donor rig has a 1354... but its an electro shift, can i still use it for the doubler?

Yes, and depending on what kit/setup you use, it might actually work better (less issues with the linkage).

Ok, could you go a little more in depth, i hadnt really thought about the linkage, figured id look into when i got that far as this isnt a highly ranked priority, but more like a for-fun side project. Thanks hic

you would have to use the 1354 as the t-case and the 1350 as the doubler. the part of the case you throw away when you turn it into a doubler is the part that holds the 1354's electric motor and shift linkage.

using the e-case as the rear case means all you need to do is stretch the wires into place, then you can use a stock manual t-case shifter to shift the doubler case.
