will a trany from a 2.9 bII fit in my 2.9 ranger xcab they are both 88s

short answer......... yes.

Bolts out, bolts in.

well im making my truck a 5 speed it was a auto will it still work can i just use all the stuff out of the bII for the 5 speed ????

If you have both trucks there to swap parts with, you should be able to swap everything right over.

You'll need the pedal assembly, clutch components, and I believe the engine PCM too.

I didnt know if all the stuff from the bII would fit becouse my truck is a ex cab and i was told i had to change the drive shafts to do it and i was going from auto trany to a manual tranny and the wheel base looks like alot shorter on the bII

The front driveshaft should be the same on both trucks, use whichever one looks best.
The rear driveshafts will not swap though, your Supercab's rear shaft must remain with the vehicle.

A4LD and FM146 (what the BII should have) are the same length transmission.
