Fun times doing some diagnostic stuff yesterday. Got a new regulator on it, still 10 psi on the fuel rail. Verified 12 volts at the pump, time to start checking everything. Checked my connections for the injectors and coils, and cranked it on starting fluid, and it started up. Feel pretty good that it's a fuel delivery issue. No kinks in the lines, everything looks pretty good.
Checked regulator output, 10 psi, 10 psi at the feed right after the pump. Opened the fuel cell to make sure that the pickup is fully immersed, it is, but when the pump is running I'm getting a good amount of fuel coming back down from the pump area. Feels like the pickup is loose or something along those lines, that'll be the next thing to check.
Soooo close and so far away. wife was NOT happy with me making her run it while i was spraying into the intake, so I'll have that moment at least.
