Regulator backwards?

Regulator backwards?

Don't think so, but that's something I'll be checking. Going to get the shifter mounted today and clean I think. I need to have some space on the workbench to check my wiring diagrams too

And when i saw wiring diagrams I mean my crude drawings of wires on junk mail

That's how you know you're good. When you wire a whole vehicle with junk mail notes... LOL

Did somebody say "wires"???

Looks like fun. I'm jealous. LOL

So the regulator was the right way, but the wrong ports - I had the input into the wrong fitting. Engine is getting fuel now, but only about 10psi at the rail. Not starting.

Have a crazy busy week this week, so won't be able to get to it much done this week. good time to take a step away and come back refreshed hopefully. Did get my shifter in, smooth as butter

I think my regulator was shot, or at least isn't working correctly. Internet likes a Wix, giving that a try. Kept hearing @bobbywalter in my head saying he doesn't like them

If I remember right you got one of the AN fitting versions of the filter regulator? We use the NAPA 3737 which holds reasonable pressure as of the last few months. There for a while when WIX sold out (you won't find that filter/regulator made by WIX anymore) NAPA and everyone got them from Lingenfilter or however you spell it and they were garbage if you put any reasonable pump to them, we would get them putting out like 80psi when it should be 58psi... and some that wouldn't even return anything. If you use that filter/regulator near the engine it should supply enough fuel for a stockish engine, we use them at work through around 400hp.
