I think its 3/16" or 1/8". Gotta a giant sheet from a friend. Man is it nice having a plasma cutter lol.

you wasn't lying my friend, its a rust bucket.... Its coming along though (If you would keep working on it :thefinger:)

Part of my "motivational" problem with the EB.

I have built a few rigs the last few years and everyone had one thing in common.....my family took a back seat to all of them. Not this time.

I am building one for the ol lady next winter, and with all the hot rods we have built, rust is nothing new for us.

right on thanks man,, and yeah my buddy got a plasma a few days ago and it is the cats freakin ass,, its just a matter of a few checks until i get one for myself. theres nothin like it

jhon....they are making new eb bodies now

you can build the wife a bad ass daily driver eb when this is done...

i am seriously considering it for mine...get the pimpest sploder possible and incorporate the fresh eb body.

stretch it so its a four door eb and tow the buggy eb with it.

you will be a super hero.

There was a guy in Bronco Driver mag that built a 4 dr EB.

she just wants a regular bronco for a DD. Going to pick up a fox body stang and pull the motor and trans for a power plant then go from there.

Bringing the interior wire harness to work this week to pick and choose what wires and pigtails get to stay.

Got out there a bit today, no pics. Got my newer radius arms mounted, lower fox shock mounts to the radius arms. Built the RF shock tower.

Mounted the gear box today, about 3/4 done on that. Radius arms are under it and attached.

Need to build trac bar and shock hoops, then charge the shocks and go from there. Build driveshafts after I acquire the pieces needed to build them. Install and custom out the wiring harness's. Buy and mount a fuel system in it. Install a cage. Figure out how I am gonna keep the 5.8L cooled down. Mount my rear Shocks somehow. Install seats and safety belts.

Time isn't the hindrance, its the fundage to acquire the necessary parts to complete it.

I need to be below the pitman.

some more pics of checking clearances and what not at droop and compression. I DO NOT have my bumpstops installed yet.

Crossover bar so far, notched it for the throttle linkage. Without the notch the throttle in sweep was a 1/4" away from it. But obviously the motor is gonna twist and move a bit so I wanted a little more "just in case" clearance. Need to make it removable next. Its just "in place" at the moment.
