1 ton, caged ranger

ground down some welds and slung some paint and bedliner.... I don't have any pics of it but it basically looks the same as above

I may have found a guy to buy my 429, in which case I will be buying my own welder

Looking good, Ben. Keep it up

Thanks guys! It means a lot. A guy offered me a trade on my 429 for a dirtbike which I may take, that way I have something to play around on while I build my truck. Also if I take this deal my next purchase will be a brand new hobart 140 that is on c-list for 300 bucks, assuming that the deal is still there.

believe me, you will enjoy the finished product......I know I do:icon_thumby:

Should be pulling the motor out of my parts truck tomorrow, maybe the axles too. I found a car scrapper that will pick up from your house which will save me some time. I should be finish painting the entire interior monday.

that snap ring should come out with needlenose/flathead, but they can be a bear

just use a flat blade screwdriver....get it behind it and pry it out...thats what I did with mine anyways.

Ah, ok I was prying on it a bit but didn't want to break it. Ill get that thing out next time I work on it

I use a 90 deg pick and a small screw driver. Some are easy, some not so much

You will get good at it haha

And that oil is nasty! haha

Make sure to keep those hubs. One of the best set are those. And they have the ability to be bored to 35 spline
