1 ton, caged ranger


Rear axle bearings are a pita to remove.....

I also got my new bushings, and I burnt out the old ones. I need to cut out the outer metal park of the old bushings still, gunna do that monday.

Ya, these ended up coming out pretty easy. I was really surprised....


All put back together with new seals and bearings and drums

The skeleton for the truss is partway welded on, I need to plate it all in still.

Also I got the old bushing sleeves out, so I need to wire wheel and paint the springs, then the bushings can go in. I need to finish the truss. And I need to make a ruff stuff order then I will have everything I need

I finished the truss, got a lubelocker, put bushings in my springs, and ordered the 8.8 axle swap kit from ruff stuff.

Last thing I need is paint and a diff cover.... soon.....
