If your going BB I would not use a 1354, it will not last long if you are hard on them, but yeah, Jay'94 went with 1350 joints after his new driveshaft he had made did not last 3 months with the 1330 joints. The joint closest to the axle is the one that sees the most stress, the tcase sided joint does not see as much stress, so if you are tight on space in that area, you don't need to run that big of a joint...I would run the NP 205 case that comes behind the C6, as this will fit in a ranger, and will hold up better than an RBV case
