You guys in Alaska have it made on terrain.
 
this is early easy run. the ground 6'' under the mud is still frozen. in 2 - 3 weeks the area will drop in some places 2-8 foot! and it's always changing. iwas the smallest tired truck with 38'' tsl's and largest out of group was running 40'' MTR's pro's. the melt off from the mountains hasn't quite hit us yet but it will.
 
i thought your truck looked too tall, but i suppose with the amount of water youll see soon, it might just be practical
 
it's a little taller than i would probably build myself. but for the 3500.00 i've given for it i'm pretty happy with the truck over all. i'll be doing some modifications to it over the next winter.
 
I know you can fit a big tire with little lift. Some members are running 40s on 5 inches of lift. Overall its a sweet looking ride.

well here's a quick description on Daisy 1989 ford Ranger stx standard cab , 2.9 to 4.0 engine swap ,electric fans , 5 spd manual trans. narrowed 1979 ford dana 44 with 5:13 gears and chromoly axle shafts. ford 8.8 rear axle with mini spool . lift is 6 " skyjacker coils for front for full size ford . rear is 6" skyjacker rear leaves ,2" lift blocks and Bell tech drop shackles. 3" body lift in preparations for fuel injected 302. she's running 38" x 12.5 x 15 TSL Super Swampers . 8000 lb smitty buildt winch and a couple of 6" hella off road light. also custom front and rear bumpers out off 2" x 6" x 1/4 " steel c channel. also a set of 2" x 4" rock / tree sliders.
