So I wanna do a lift in my Ranger but i've never done anything like it before. I know I could do shackles in the rear but that just leaves a t-bar crank in the front, which I don't really wanna do.

I found this kit on superlift
http://www.superlift.com/lift-kits/4-inch-2000-2010-suspension-lift-kit-k358.asp

Coilovers and a SAS seem like ALOT of searching and screwing around.

So SAS or 4" superlift? Pro's and Con's? Price differences?

Thanks

How much lift are you wanting, what size tire are you wanting to run, whats its purpose is (trail riding, rock crawling, weekend wheeler, mall crawler, etc) are all questions needed/to consider to determine which type of lift, and how much will be needed...

Nothing to crazy. I already have a 3" BL so around 4" should be plenty. 35's would be nice but 33's are fine. I want my tires to have room to move around. This will just be a weekend wheeler that's still decent to drive on the road.

Probably would be fine with the Superlift kit if you stick with 33" or smaller tires and aren't rock crawling (35s is pushing it for the axle CVs & bearings).

If you had experience with a welder and fabricating, the SAS would normally be the better way to go, only because it offers huge gains in articulation and durability over your stock IFS (not to mention is a much simpler setup), and is similar in cost to the Superlift kit if you were to do the swap yourself, however it's not a project for the inexperienced (and is quite costly if you have a shop perform the conversion). If not done properly, it can be a handful to drive it on the street too. The Superlift kit you should be able to bolt it on in a weekend in your driveway or garage.
