05 Edge V8 Swap

The swap is pretty straight forward really. You just need the wiring diagrams for both vehicles. I am in the process still of doing to the write up; however, I am not going to post anything until I am 100% complete. The last thing I have to solve is the cruise control issue. Unplugged my speedo works and is off by 5 mph; however, with the cruise control plugged in it does not work. Once I get that figured out I will post a write up for everyone's viewing pleasure.

I do not have digital gauges in my truck so I kept my stock cluster. I did not have to reprogram the PCM at all.

What I was meaning is do you have these gauges still in your truck:

or did you swap in the older gauges like this?:

The reason I ask is to see if all of the gauges work. I am wanting to swap in the newer gauges with the v8.

The ones above is what I have. It is all about the wiring really. The main lingering problem is my speedo only works when it is unplugged from the cruise control module and it is about 5 mph over actual speed. I have a sine wave to square wave converter and a mph adjustment module yet to install. The Super Bowl has me working crazy long hrs adding frequencies, equipment and capacity to Sprint cell sites. Good thing I am going to get paid $45/hr to sit on stand by during game and walk around Lucas Oil Stadium.

I got my spindles, knuckles and transfer case purchased. Just need to find a 5R70W transmission and I will be good to go.

So when will she expected to be AWD drive and whatnot?

Cant wait to see the truck again in the upcoming meet.

After the meet but before I go on vacation in November. I should have my cold air intake on by then though.

That would be a 4R70W. The knuckles and transfer case should be at my shop on Tuesday. The price is actually 100 per knuckle with the hub bearings installed. 75 was bare.
