03 lvl 2 couple of questions

Lokkin at a black 03 lvl 2 ranger, i noticed the gauges are black in the middle but white on the outsides? I thought they were all white? It has the front tow hooks, 2 o shit handles, alcoa wheels, red seats everything lvl2 but the cluster has me wondering? Also what lifts do people put in a 03? I seen some with rcd but it shows only for 98-02? Thanks for any help.

Some things varied from year to year. Sounds like a legit Level II to me.

What RCD says about their lift doesn't matter because they don't produce it any more.
Around 2001 or 2002 Ford changed the rotor size and ball joint so there is a cutoff there for different lift kits, which brings us to....
Superlift, which is the only 98+ suspension lift available at a halfway decent price. It costs a lot of money, like around $1600.
Your other lift option is the Dixon Brothers coil-over kit. It costs a lot more money. A whole lot more. If you have to ask, you can't afford it.
Or a body lift for about $230.

Yea its blackin. The center and white on the sides?? Go to seattle craigslist and type in ranger fx4 its a black one article says take a look at this? Im really wondering?

An 03 should be live axle. No hubs.

yeah, that's a legit cluster. You don't see them multi-colored like that often, but they do pop up every once in a while.

I want a set of those wheels for my 87, so hard to find in the yard.

The gauges r crazyhad me thinkin someone tried making a normal xlt into a lvl2 ive drove the truck its great has kinda alot of miles 108k but its a great price i think i may just go get it, any probs with the sohc 4.0?

get that level II!m id tell them only if they put a new centercap on that wheel considering it cost about $80 for one from the stealership

Thanks for the info man! Im really consideing this truck right now i have a 93 with 240k it would be a great improvement, just wish the lifts were cheaper for 1600 i could put a dana 44 under her!!!!

Lol man i always wanted a level 2!! Has some minor things it needs plus it has 110k but hell one ranger i have has 270k and the other 240k !!! They r supposex to call me back soon.
