Well ladies & gents, this is my pickup. Its a 2002 Ford Ranger Supercab XLT 4x4...

Bought it this past December with about 29,900 miles on it, it now has just over 37,000.

I haven't done many mods to it besides my 2 KC HiLites Long Range off road lights, my backup lights (in progress), and my CB.

The two KC's are 55 watt's. The backup light is 55 watts.

My CB is a Midland 1001Z, which is hooked up to a 4ft firestik antenna on a custom bar on the back.

I don't have pics of it, but I also have two whips on that same custom bar too.

On to the pics:

Yeah I'm pretty happy with the lights, well, except I don't get to use em as often as I'd like. But they really help you to pay attention to the sides of the road where those damn deer like to run out from, they've already saved me once.

Thanks!

looks slick man!! im really liking it. i want a backup light on mine too lol. backing up with tinted windows suck hahaha

Thanks! Only wish it was a metal housing, but I have a backup just in case anyway... I was thinking about turning the other light into a cig lighter operated "spot" light... something that could be put just about anywhere, probably magnetic base... But I'm not sure if the 12v outlet could handle it.

Yeah, all backup lights I've used suck, frankly, and its about time I did something about it. Plus since the lights are on a switch, it works well for hooking up to trailers too.

Little update on what I've been doing.

I bought a relay and hooked my KC's up to it:

The relay was really easy to hook up using the diagram provided in the tech section.

And I also remove my ugly running boards... (pics coming)

How much do you want for your running boards? I would like a set for mine.

Eh, I'd kinda like to hang onto them for when I sell the pickup, otherwise I would probably have to just sell them local, just to save the hassle of shipping them.

Believe me, they ain't pretty... for what I would want to ship them to you, you would be better off buying something stainless steel from JC Whitney with free shipping. www.jcwhitney.com. Check out their stuff.

looking good man!! nice vent visors
it looks taller without the bars lol
