02 ranger 4WD troubleshooting.TCCM compatability

Hello everyone,
I have an 02 Ford ranger with 4.0 litre 6 and automatic transmission. I have been reading as much as i can here regarding the "switch" 4WD drive. Mine has quit about a week a go, and here is what i have figured out so far.

All fuses are good.
No relay noise when i move to 4H
it used to work then got spoaradic now nothing
No lights flash on the dash during engine startup.
All connections to the 4X4CM are good (clean with contact cleaner)
So I am leaning towards the 4X4 module
My part number is IL54-7H417-AD IS there a compatability chart that i can cross reference this part against other in a scarp yard (Dealership will not tell me this info) I have seen several similiar modules but the last to letters are different.

Any thoughts É

There is a control mod. In the side panel by the passenger door mine quite working just like yours replaced it and everything started working again
