my dad finally decided to do something with the tired old 327 in his 68 camaro and we have now started our project. the 327 has been pulled and will later be rebuilt as it is a numbers matching engine. as for now we have bought an LS1 and will be making the conversion. this project has proven to be pretty fun so far and i thought some of you might enjoy it as well, so here are some pictures, let me know what you think

the cool thing is, we got the motor out of a 02 camaro and it is actually the ls6 block and intake, just the ls1 heads, we bought an after market cam and valve springs im pretty sure it was a comp cam with 268 lift, our goal is 400 horse, it will be there easily, but hopefully 400 wheel horse power :headbang:

It's nice to have a dad who teaches you this kind of stuff.
My dad spent all of his time in front of the tv, so I had to learn how to mechanic myself. You guys are gonna have fun with this build!

heh, I told my dad when I was 10 I wanted a go kart, he found a frame, then an engine that didn't run, and some tires, made me put it together by myself and make it run.....
