Mods are the top end of the vaporizer scale.. the one I got is called a pod mod since it takes a proprietary 'pod' that you fill up with the juice, and then there are box Mods like this..View attachment 112439

Where the tanks that hold the juice are more or less universal... these also have replaceable batteries unlike mine which is really nice.

The coils sit submerged inside the pod/tank and yeah.. you hit the button and it heats up producing the vapor. Different juices require different coils.. mine are .4ohm but are available in all sorts of different resistances.. whatever wattage you want to vape at will dictate what sort of coil you want to run as well. The best wattage for a .4ohm with my vape is apparently 30watts.. where a .8 or a full ohm coil would want 60-80 watts.

It's really nerdy shit honestly lol.

I'll have to look around for some good cbd juice that'll work in something like this.. I've used cbd disposables before but the "juice" was incredibly thick like THC oil.. kinda like an Elmer's glue consistency.
It’s definitely nerdy stuff when you get into it, but I like nerdy stuff so… lol. I still have a Uwell Crown IV tank (pretty good), some kinda basic GeekVape tank, and a Smok tank (kinda sucks). Also ended up with several replacement glass bits for the GeekVape tank I still have because I accidentally cracked one and the only way I could get replacements was in a pack. I also have a selection of coils and got into cleaning coils. Never got into the RDA tanks because it was more than I really wanted to get into.

Unfortunately the place I was getting the CBD juice from is now gone. It’s become hard to find because everyone has been going to the THC disposables made from CBD because it’s a “legal” form of THC. As long as the THC comes from the CBD plant instead of the Marijuana plant, it’s Federally legal under the Farm Bill that Federally legalized CBD. Such a complicated mess made worse by some states legalizing Marijuana and some states still saying no to even CBD. Add in that CBD hemp bud looks and smells exactly like Marijuana and the whole thing is a train wreck because nobody knows the difference without testing. Personally, I think they need to just legalize it all and treat it more like alcohol.

When I quit smoking I tried the vapes a bit but stopped after a week or so. Just really want doing it for me. Have done a little bit of the vaping here and there, along with some dip or snus, but non of it was the same as chain smoking camels.

Smoking actual cigarettes puts me into an asthma attach. So I mostly just quit cold turkey from 2 packs a day.

Got some.. well spun propaganda in the mail 🙄😋 Addressed to myself "or current resident"

damn thing has just as many pages as the average murder mystery novel.. whoever's pulling the strings on this one is certainly financially committed.. seems pretty pricey to be mailing a buncha random Joe's whole ass books lol.
Looks like you could buy a case of them on eBay for $90 (52 count) or one for $10.

Go get all the ones they dropped off at your neighbors and sell them for beer money.

All but one household on my road would probably first the profile of someone wanting to send them one of these lol.

I'm wondering what I did to get put on the list... probably a purchase from pro2atactical.com earlier in the year 😋

Went to mix up a batch of weed killer and hose down the poison ivy and stuff over at my property and figured I should make sure everything works before getting started. Well, I had 6 volts and no ground at the pump. I had done a half-baked job of wiring it up in a hurry a couple years back and it was shot. So, I dragged out my wiring kit and re-wired everything the way it should have been done the first time. Kinda mad at myself for not doing it right when I knew better from the start. After I was done with that, I mixed and sprayed 15 gallons. Apparently my property also needs mowed. Again. Didn’t have time for that today though. That’s a couple hour job, partly because I haven’t got to taking care of a bunch of stumps and stuff yet and I was way behind in getting the ”chemical mowing” (mist weed killer into areas I want to keep open but can’t really mow except maybe by hand or weed whacker just to retard growth) and poison ivy sprayed.

Anyway, after all of that I got the oil changed in the F-150, the shifters back in, and a couple little things done. Still have a few things to deal with, but progress is being made to get that done.

the grey-t escape
Got 1 bearing/knuckle assembly changed out on the awd escape, 1 more to go. Woulda done both in the same day but just too hot. Also picked up a attic fan with a temp switch for $20 at a yard sale- and 2 hrs later fed-ex dropped off the $30 temp switch (same) that I ordered from fleabay this week. Oh well, new fan is temporary breeze maker in chicken run at the moment.

So far have beat the rust off the tractor wheel with a chipping hammer (could have sworn I have a needle scaler somewhere, couldn't find it) then a knotted wheel on a grinder. Then hit it with some primer then some of the industrail Rustoleum spray I got for my A arms. Here in a couple minutes I'll head out and start working on the Ranger now that I have all the parts, we'll let the paint dry until tomorrow then mount the tire for the tractor...

Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong. Plan for it as best you can.
Drilled holes in some 2"X2"X0.250" angle to make extended mounts for my trailer's spare tire brackets and got tires for the 2019. I didn't have time to install them today. I'll have to install them tomorrow and try to train the sensors. If that doesn't work, I'll drive it to the tire shop and have them do it. The window of opportunity is narrow before the girlfriend needs to do her running about. It will be interesting to see how long it takes before she starts complaining about the mud tire roar.

Installed an AC in my living room. Not really any good place downstairs for windows units, so I put in a big wall unit.

Had to cut through 6” of wood and plaster. For some reason people have a hard time believing me when I tell them my walls are made of solid wood.

Coincidentally, I just resealed two of the tires on the Road Ranger’s step trailer (185/65/14 on bullet hole rims). There was the tiniest bit of seepage around the bead (a month to go flat) and on one around the valve stem. Remember these are freebies or $10 on craigslist type wheels and tires. I hate when you can’t get a top quality for free.

I let the air out and pried the bead back just about a quarter inch. I sprayed brake cleaner in there (it softens the rubber), and then I ran a tiny bead of silicone, and then worked it into where the bead sits with a screwdriver. Works every time.

The reason I mention this is if your wheel isn’t totally smooth, this can avoid a lot of headaches. Most people don’t know about the brake cleaner trick. I use the black RTV silicone, just a tiny little bit that I push in with a dollar store brush that I cut off short so I can work it in. The residual brake cleaner also makes the silicone a little bit more liquidy until it evaporates. It’s slippery so it helps the tire seat, and it squishes into all of the imperfections as you put the air pressure to it

I used a thin little pic to clean out as best I could around the valve stem. Then I shot it with the brake cleaner, and I put some silicone around it, and then I wiggled it back-and-forth to work the silicone in. I was actually able to twist it a little bit which I’m sure worked it in around the whole. Then you can wipe off all the stuff that squished out with a rag.

24 hours later, no bubbles.

Hope it helps.

F250 was making a dragging noise, figured rear pads where low. Pads were like new.

The bagger plate was rusted out and there was some bits of shit rolling around in the parking brake drum.

I hate mini drums inside a disc more then the ratcheting disc parking brake things.

Everything should have regular rear drums.

That delta8 thc stuff.. the fed legal kind.. so wierd. Tried it once and it just made me.. uneasy. Nothing like the real thing.

What percentage nicotine juice were you using? They say pack a day smokers won't really be satisfied with less than 12%. Seems like the most common % bottles in the shop I go to are 3 6 and 9%. My 100ml bottles are 6% and the cinnamon 30ml bottle is like 4.8%.

Apparently people only absorb around 1mg of nicotine per ciggarette, and my 30ml bottle says there's 48mg in the whole thing. So.. 5ml per tank works out to 6 tanks per 30ml.. and that boils down to the equivalent of 8 cigarettes per tank.

I was a pack a day smoker at least.. probably closer to 1.5 a day.. so it seems kinda crazy to me how I'm not going crazy and pulling my hair out by getting less than half of the nicotine I'm used to 🤷‍♀️ especially since science says I shouldn't be. I'll take it though. I don't stink (so much) anymore AND it kinda satiates my cravings for sweets which helps since I'm also trying to cut way back on my sugar intake lol.

It's been so long I don't remember. But.... I do remember when I went into the store and bough the juice I did tell the guy I smoked two packs a day and wanted something that tasted similar to cigarettes. It's entirely possible they gave me a low dose, it did kind of taste like cigarettes though.

I remember they called it coyboy juice

This was also probably 2017 or so, things may have changed.

the grey-t escape
Did the other side of the escape today, passenger side knuckle/bearing/hub assembly. had issues getting the lower ball joint stud out, even tried spreading the pinch area of the knuckle with a chiesel. finally got it apart. this side wheel bearing felt a little worse. went back together good. overall went faster. makes a difference when you know what tools you need (and they are already out). Hung a ceiling fan in the garage, bought it last summer sometime & meant for it to be in the chicken house then decided it wouldnt work out there. Its been in my way ever since until now. Weeds are growing in the yard but thats about it. Might wait until next weekend to mow again. Im ready to do nothing for a bit.

So, the Delta8 and Delta 10 (both to my understanding are technically Fed legal), it seems like there’s some great disparity in quality depending on where you go and what you buy. I’ve had some that were great, and some that were not. There’s one vape shop (they now have two locations) that has some store branded D8 gummies that are actually pretty good and very consistent. Most of my D8 and D10 vape stuff comes from there too, they have the best selection and quality I’ve found local. Of cours, the stores are an hour to hour and a half away and that stuff is just for practicality. Really I like the CBD bud form the best, but it looks and smells like Marijuana, so there’s that. The CBD bud will help my hip pain though and not much else will. Couple specific strains though. Most don’t.

Interesting. I tried getting my one now friend (we tried a relationship for awhile but I think we make better friends) to quit cigs for vape. She used 6ml and I think even tried 12ml at one point and still prefers cigs. She was close to two packs a day though, now she’s usually a pack or less a day.
