I'm doing a 4bt swap in my ranger. Previously I had a 5.0L V8 in it from a 2000 Mercury Mountaineer.

I have the stock compressor from the mountaineer and I am going to try and fabricate a custom bracket to mount it to the 4bt. The issue is I am going to need to drive it off of a V belt pulley.

Are there parts available to easily convert a compressor off a 5.0 to a v belt pulley?

Look around in pick a part yards and find a compressor with the right pulley and the right center to mount to the compressor or just get a compressor that already has a V-belt pulley LOL.
