Hi all,

Does the 2019 Ranger with tow package have a trailer brake controller or is this something I need to add?

Welcome to the forum. That is an add on item. They don't come with a trailer brake controller but Ford does have one available as an accessory.

You can get a factory brake controller on the F-150 with the tow package but not with the Ranger.

Can they install the brake controller for you at Ford? I believe the wiring is already there.

I've been told that the 2019 models may not have the connectors for the controller. You may need to have the dealer install it for you. Later models are supposed to have the plugs already and is "plug and play".
