This is why I own a Ranger AND an F250. I would rather pay the extra money every month for insurance than try to tow a car with my Ranger, mostly because the combination of the 6 inch suspension lift and 33's make it feel slightly uneasy just when I try to pull my little ATV trailer. I actually considered throwing a receiver on my Windstar just to pull my smaller trailer because I know for sure that the 3.8 can handle it BUT the AX4S trans that's in it is definitely a weak link and I don't feel like putting another one in the thing. I would rather let the F250 do it's job even if it sucks gas because in the end it's better than having to replace broken parts or get into some kind of freak accident.
