I have a 1000w amp running my subwoofers and a 450w running my (4) 6X9 speakers. Should I get a capacitor or will running 1450w+ not change the gas mileage or performance due to taking more output then can be created? :headbang:

Another question is how much flexing do you think that back window can take? I mean it looks like my back window has a current like the ocean and I really do not want it to rain and the rain leak through my back window due to possibly a bad seal because of extreme vibration?

Let me know ranger professionals ! :icon_thumby:

a capacitor doesnt create energy, it just stores it. your using the same amount of energy (and gas) regardless of if you have a cap or not.

but its my opinion that caps are bandaids. if you are having problems with dimming lights at idle, its time to upgrade the big 3: alternator, battery, wiring.

I know what your saying about the dimming of the lights and cab lights but it doesn't do that so I guess I should be ok.
