Hey I got a 99 Ranger with the 2.5/M5OD so it’ll start right up and come to a damn near perfect idle but if you give it gas it’ll come down and idle super rough (engine shaking and at like 500 rpm) but goes away with added throttle.
I changed the spark plugs, checked the IACV and it’s okay. Cleaned the EGR and sprayed carb cleaner around the manifold and didn’t notice any change in RPM. I also did the dollar bill test on the exhaust pipe and it passed. Kinda at a loss now since it’s not a recessed valve or spark plugs. Any ideas?
