Hello, I've kept an old Nissan hardbody around basically as long as they've been around, for when I need a truck. Reworked an SVO over the last 3 yrs and during that time I've come to realize the 2.3l has a reputation of being just as reliable, so I ditched the hardbody and replaced it w a 97 Ranger. So far, replaced an 8' section of fuel line to fix a leak, installed fog lights, replaced hood release cable, and changed the oil. OH, and scored a bedliner at the local junkyard yesterday. Hell they had like 8 Rangers there, which I'll definitely keep in mind. Seems to run fantastic for 140k. I'd planned on a tune up but now thinking I'll just wait until I've logged some miles. This has already been a helpful forum, and I appreciate it. Hoping to rebuild my SVOs old engine and drop it in the Ranger somewhere down the road. The idea of it is very appealing, turboing these little engines really makes em fun. It's great to find a helpful, active forum for these trucks, I'm already becoming a fan
