Not a reply, but, a followup. This is my first ranger pickup and just got the licenses and title this week. It has some problems but are being address in some kind of priorty order. Did score a pair of new larger tires for it today. The A/C does not work and the front brake rotors and pads need replacing but those will be address later. Added a full tank of gas this morning and discovered a badly leaking fuel tank. That is the first item to fix. Gonna have to pull the bed off to find where the leak is coming from - somewhere above the frame rail and in the front 1/3 of the tank. I have restored and rebuilt Model A fords for the last 50 years so these problems (hiccups) are not new to me. This will be a daily driver when I git it all done.. Pictures to come when I figure out how. ken

drives a stick shift ranger
welcome!!! that should be an easy fix. i pull hte bed bolts and unplug the harness then tilt the bed up on the driver side and use a 2x4 to hold it up so i can do the fule pump and sender stuff. that should make it easy to find the leak, too
