- My credo
- If you don't have time to do it right will you have time to do it over?
I discovered today when I bolted a C4 with a Mustang II flex plate, Bell housing, block plate and torque convertor up to my 351 with a fox body oil pan that a starter will not fit. The Mustang II 140 tooth flywheel and small diameter bell housing seemed like a good idea but it tucks the starter in too far and won't clear the oil pan. I suppose I could reshape the oil pan but I have a bell housing for 157 tooth flex plate so I'll just get the parts to use it. It's supposed to be a good day if you learn something but it didn't seem too good to me.
