This is intended as additional info to an excellent post here.

Access to the lower intake manifold bolts is possible without removing the upper intake manifold. Referring to drawing A13496-1A, bolts 2,5,6,7, and 8 are accessible simply with a long straight extension. 6 and 8 are accessed through the gaps between the upper intake manifold runners. To access bolt 1, you must remove the throttle cable bracket and cover. You likely will need to move wiring aside using a long screwdriver, or pry bar, but you should be able to see the 10mm bolt and access it with a straight extension. Bolt 3 is accessible with a wobble extension. It may be more directly accessible if you remove the thermostat housing and neck. On my truck, bolt 3 was a 13mm stud/bolt. All others were 10mm. Bolt 4 is accessible with a wobble extension about 10" long. It is accessed from between the upper intake manifold and the firewall. Clearance is very tight and I found it necessary to remove the wiper linkage access plate on the firewall to gain clearance for the torque wrench head. Please keep in mind using extensions and wobbles will affect the accuracy of your torque readings.
Torque specs as per my Fel-Pro installation tips sheet are as follows;
Torque bolts in four steps
Step 1 4-8 Nm, (3-6 ft. lbs.)
Step 2 8-15 Nm, (6-11 ft. lbs.)
Step 3 15-21 Nm, (11-16 ft. lbs.)
Step 4 21-25 Nm, (16-19 ft. lbs.)
