4.10 are relatively common in yards. Same for 3.73 and 3.45 (ugh) and somewhat less common is 3.08 (an absolutely worthless gear for an RBV). Theoretically 4.56 gears are out there, Ford lists them as an option, but I’ve never found a set in the wild yet. My Choptop had 3.08 when I got it, it has 4.10 now and could really use a little more, or a doubler and a supercharger.
On the turbo subject, the reason I brought it up was way back when the big thing if you had a 2.3 was to find a T-bird or Mustang or something in a junkyard that had a turbo 2.3 from the factory, then just swap the bits you need to make it work. My understanding was it wasn’t a difficult thing to do. Certainly easier than some engine swaps. Might be worth poking around to see if you can find what you need.
