How to access the cigarette lighter wiring, and pop off that surround in my 2007 FX4 dash?

I saw the 2 screws below the radio, but I just don't want to break something attempting to muscle off that surround. Does it pop off? Thx -Doug WB1E

Taping off the cigarette lighter wiring was the recommendation. Thanks....however with my Ranger, Ford decided to save some $$ and only use 18 or 20 gauge for this. I have never seen one of these hooked up with that light of a wire gauge. So, yes all the plastic nipples popped off requiring some #6 x 1/2" sheetmetal or wood screws screwed in to what is left when I popped off the surround. I'll run a hot wire fused directly from the battery. I did discover a rubber boot that I could pierce running along the hood unlock cable behind the parking brake pedal where it goes through the footwell-firewall area. Thx again S.H.
