Hey guys, this question is mainly for the offroad guys since that what my ranger is for. I just got done removing my front coil spacers that were just under 1" to give my truck a bit more rake for carrying camping gear and a motorcycle, but after removing it im wondering if i should get a bit shorter shock, i am running a full skyjacker class 2 lift and currently have the Skyjacker M95 (M9555) shock up front and with the truck just sitting i only about 2.5 inches of chrome showing so not much up travel, and as you can see in the picture below just hitting bumps in my neighborhood i used half of that. So i think i should step down to the M9554 shock to get a bit more of up travel.

but what do you guys think and how much chrome or up travel do you guys have?

the best way to know whats going on is to take the coil out and cycle the suspension travel with the shock connected. make sure your beam is bottoming out on a bump stop. if your shock is bottoming out first, itll eventually lead to failed shock mounts
