Hello everyone, new forum user here!
A couple weeks ago i bought my first truck, an 84 ranger 4x4 manual trans with the 2.8L v6, i'm not a mechanic but i have done a couple of thing to my truck already and i want to learn a whole lot more with this project, i live in Mexico and i can't find information locally about which oil cap goes in the valve cover (didn't realize it was missing when i bought it) since the truck was imported a while back and i would like to ask for any info at all that would help me find it (photos, part number, etc), i'll attach some pictures of the valve cover where the cap should be, thanks in advance

If it's like my old 60s and 70s stuff its a push fit cap. May find at an auto parts store. I will update with a pic when I find one.

Thank you so much, i was looking for an oil cap or valve cover cap instead of oil breather cap in the auto parts store, i'll give them a call to see if they have in stock.

Since your just getting into learning and finding parts. Go to Rockauto or summit racing.
Great place to find parts. Its a great place to find cross-reference parts and part numbers.

Thats how I got most to all of my parts when I first started. Im still learning but its a good start!
