Didn't realize coundnt buy ranger xmembers .

I've heard that before... I don't think they're available. I guess I thought you had a plan already in place.

Yes I had 3 bent at a local sheet metal shop.that I have to work on a bit,and going to make the front xmember 16ga.

Mine will be mostly steel, I'll use 2x10s or something for the decking though.



The bed ones or frame? The bed ones are pretty readily available online

they come out pretty nice, I got the long one out in the car.
Glass beaded the areas on the bed floor ,where they are going to be welded back on.

Glad to see you found a work around... I will keep this in mind when my time comes.

In fact... being these are not available... perhaps you can document (photos/specs/procedure) of this work around. We like to archive repair procedures for the membership here to reference and help keep these trucks up and running into the future. I would suggest starting a new thread (Paint Body Forum) and put your photos and documentation within that thread. Then @Jim Oaks will be called in and we can see about getting you an Article Contributor banner for your efforts. Things like these are really what makes TRS the best Ranger resource there is.

Yeah damn at a second look I was apparently seeing bed supports for an f150, crazy that nobody makes them for a ranger..

Yes, I had no luck finding any.I did not call a ford dealer,perhaps they could get them.
