I live in the San Fernando valley suburbs of Los Angeles, and sometimes it takes weeks or more for stuff to arrive from the east coast. Times are weird. First world is just a different turd world.... not too long ago we didnt have toilet paper thanks to COVID hoarders. I just switched to the hose and had plenty of actual important supplies like food, water, fuel, ammo, etc... city idiots. As long as you can get stuff, I'd fix the ranger. Slow delivery is ok, get a dirt bike in the mean time. I have a few DRZ 400's myself, ultimate urban and off road battle machine.Importing things from far away kinda sorta works for toys, not when you need it get to work on Monday.
I have been on the other side of the coin, waiting for slow leaky boats to bring over stuff for Russian and South Korean farm equipment sucks and can take weeks or longer... and that was 5-10 years ago.
