This 99 explorer has the abs light on. I've been told its the sensor in the rear diff. I've also heard that cleaning may fix this. On to the questions: Do you agree that its this sensor in the rear dif? What can I clean it with? Thank you for your time.

Sensor is in the rear diff. No idea on cleaning it, though unplugging the plug and spraying some WD-40 in it will fix a bad connection issue at the plug.

you can wipe it off, its magnetic. also it could be your front abs, dirty sensor, faulty sensor, broke or dirty reluctor ring. clean the rear first though, known to collect crap.
