I am having a problem with my 4 low. The problem I'm having is that my truck will not engage into 4 low without being on an incline or decline with me slowly allowing my truck to roll backward or forward. What is my problem?

not sure about the incline thing but some 4x4's need to be able to roll forwards or back for the front to engage. does your's have manual or auto lock hubs. if they are the auto lock hubs you have no problem, they just need room to engage. my girlfriends truck had autolock hubs and was the same way until i had manual hubs installed. come to think of it most 4x4's i have drove with auto hubs need the forward/reverse action to engage.
