Hello. I'm looking at getting a 2007 4.0 automatic 4wd and it needs a new transmission. Can I use a trans from a 2004 with a 4.0 4wd?

I've been reading up but want to be certain. Will there be issues with the sensors, shafts, or anything else?

Thanks in advance for any useful input.

I'm thinking yes but I'm not the transmission expert. So, I'll defer to those who know more.

Thanks Sergeant, I'm hopeful it will work but I'm with you, deferring to the experts.
