Hi All,
Looking for some help on tire suggestions. Earlier this year my grandfather passed away, I was fortunate enough to be in a position to acquire his truck & help out my grandma in the process. It was unexpected, so there are many things I didn't get to ask him about as I had hoped to buy it from him when the time was right.
Over the summer I have been picking away at things, had the motor refreshed (wiped cam lobe), and started looking at the wheels & tires. The rubber is from 2008, and the original BFG Drag Radials (335/55R15) don't seem to be available anymore. The size itself seems uncommon, so I'm not really sure what I should be using in it's place. I don't intend to ever take this to the track, but I want to keep the same look and feel on the truck. The front tires can hit the headers if you really crank the wheel too, I'm wondering if more of a rounded/narrow tire might help.
Front: Prostar 15 x 4 2.25RS 4.5BC (Part# 092796-54202)
Rear: Prostar 15 x 12 5.5RS 4.5BC (Part# 96-512210)
Appreciate the help or any suggestions!
Thanks,
Nick
