Hi everyone! I am new around here and just recently got myself a 91 4.0 2wd Ranger! I also just got myself a new axle to swap from my open 3.08 to an LSD 3.55 but I did have one concern. The 3.55 axle that I would be swapping in has the 10-inch drum brakes (while the one on the truck is the 9 inch) and I was curious if someone had experience running the 10-inch drums on the 14-inch OEM rims that came with the truck. I just got new tires installed (found an amazing deal on some 14 inch general grabbers that I could not pass on) and I was hoping that I don't have to swap to a 15-inch rim. Thanks for the help!

It's up there.
Total Drop
It's down there.
Tire Size
Round.
My credo
I poop in the furnace.
I have no direct knowledge of this swap but I can tell you with 15" rims there is a HUGE amount of room with 9" brakes, I'm seeing more than 2" looking at my truck. I can go actually measure in a few minutes.

Plus, the front brakes use the same rims obviously and the front rotors are 11" plus the room for the caliper...

I'm almost certain there is zero issue.
