Does anyone know what this piece is? It's off of my '87 Bronco II 4x4, goes under the front coil springs. I cannot for the life of me find what it is. I think it's some sort of bushing possibly?

My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
I call it the spring seat. There is a metal piece like in your picture that locates the bottom of the spring. Then, usually a plastic piece (insulator) that sits on top of the seat, but under the spring to help reduce the noise, so you don't have a steel spring rubbing on a steal seat.
