From what I understand, the ecoboost engines with all the plumbing and the turbo(s) hanging off the side are pretty wide.

Given the size of the “new” Rangers, I can see shoving a V8 in the engine bay not being a problem.

My inner 8 year old really liked this truck until I saw the clowns license plate lol. What a letdown.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
I pass a little used car lot just up the road every day and this showed up last week. Finally stopped to look at it this morning. From some of the "make it look shiny" techniques I see on this, I don't think I care much for the guy. But anyway... it's an '84 with 86k showing on the odometer. Frame is cleaner than my 93. Very obviously a southern truck and well cared for. 2.3l, 5spd. A/C. Would make an awesome dd for me if I was in the market. Dealer said someone just put a retainer on it this morning. Selling for $5500.

I think so. It's even on 3/4 of the visible part of the spare. They painted the rear bumper silver. Everything I touched was slippery with silicone from being made shiny. But I looked past all that. That frame is solid. Body is great. Looks like the front bumper had been pushed into the fender slightly on the driver side at some point. Might be a new bumper. $5500 is high in my opinion. But compared to what the guys up north see, it's probably worth every penny.

What is the metal thing that looks like a spotlight handle in the roof console?
