Gt-12

Sweet all it needs now is a Transfer case and some 44's on full widths but no suspension just axles right to the frame for that sweet look, And you better be right about the spring coming soon

Very nice. Looks tight for the right leg though, especially getting in and out.

it is.i'm really getting too old to be twisting myself up as is needed to get in and out of this thing.

but i'll suffer through it:icon_thumby:

spring?hell,it's been a blizzard all day here.went into town earlier and couldn't see 50 feet in front of the truck for the snow coming down.

who the hell said anything about spring?:icon_twisted:

ya,it's just roughed out for now,i'll get fancier with it later.i like making things like this look like they were stamped from one piece.polishing would be real cool, but a waste as it'll be upholstered anyway.

it is....i'm starting to get excited.i sit in the driver's seat and my feet aren't on the front tire, and the transmission isn't being used as an armrest:headbang:

figured since i was sitting in the thing going 'vroom vroom' i should at least have some guages to look at.so,i tossed the dash in.or,at least what remains of the dash.

It's too bad that aluminum has to be covered up....

and that parking brake is going to be awkward...

Funny, I thought with the car the way it is e-brake initiation would not be necessary to drift, just prodigious amounts of throttle:D

lol i like how people are now basing timeline on pages of this thread! :D i heard it dumped, everyone from back home (surrey) was posting on FB about "let it snow" and garbage, and some complaining about driving... heard bellingham had a heavy snowfall warning that started this morning (sunday) at 6am and ends monday at 6pm for 4-9inches? which doesn't seem like THAT much over 36 hours...

here in calgary, surprisingly, it's been weeks since a notable fall, and when i mean notable, an amount you would notice over the snow that's already on the ground... the streets have been clear, and i haven't seen a plow or sander for probably 3 weeks!

it's not too bad, actually.it would be nice a little lower, but it feels like i can still do a good slide with it.

you mean to tell me you need the e-brake to get that ass end out?

Glad to see a man of your calibre still does this!! I thought it was just me that sat in or on my half built projects holding up steering wheels or handlebars and making appropriate noises...joking apart, I often find it's where the best inspiration comes from to keep going. Love the trans' tunnel - mine's fibreglass and carpet underlay for insulation - have you got the room for adding any sound deadening, that could get noisy in there!

Still keeping an eye on this build, would love to join in the banter more often but the difference in time zones sometimes means the moment has gone - are you six hours behind or eighteen ahead? - anything a man of your abilities can do about that?

i was reading up on the updates i missed over the course of last week and this build jogged my memory of something from my horribly missguided import tuner phase in highschool
