Im still here, and the project is still alive. I did suffer a setback. I decided I dont like my 44/9" setup. So I picked up a dodge front 60 and rear 70 today.

Very nice... I know how that goes!
They are a little crusty looking, but they both spin freely.
The front is from a 91 W350 Dodge. It is essentially the same as a chevy front. Internal hubs and 35 spline inners with 30 spline outers. I will be buying a set of D70 front stubs to convert to 35 spline.
The rear is from a similar truck. 35 spline shafts.

woo we did CPR to this thread...does that D70 have locking hubs on it?
The rear just has FF shafts no hubs.
