Ya i was gonna go with tuff country too because it seemed like a decent kit for a good price. I'm buying a different 4" lift off of someone on here for even cheaper tho. If you are pateint enough i would wait a bit and keep your eyes peeled for a person on here upgrading or whatever. lol But im not either, i just got very lucky.

Let us know how it turns out and post a pic or 2 when u eventually do get something set up.

yeah, that's what i did, pieced it together from guys on here, probably spent around $300 for all of it, including long travel shocks and a pitman arm

Alright awesome, i thought u meant rough country lol now i cant wait! Anyone know how much more travel i will have once i get the extended radius arms? I wanna know how big of a difference it is, cause if its worth the 500 bucks for good ones, maybe even skyjacker, ill have to invest.

the d35 will swap in there just fine, but the driver side drop brake has the potential to puncture a hole in the d35 diff if you were to hit a bump suddenly. tuff country uses a 3/8" thick plate that you fasten the factory pivot bracket to, instead of giving you a new bracket. (one of the reasons it's so cheap) on a side note, you'll most likely have to shorten the front driveshaft when put the d35 as well.

you will need the extended brake lines, but i think the tuff country lift comes with them. there's an alternative in the tech library that can save you some $$$.

Tuff Country uses a whole new drop bracket that poses no risk to punching a hole in a D28 or D35. I owned a kit I know this for sure.

Also, if the kit doesn't come with it, you'll need a matching set of shocks, drop pitman arm and extended brake lines (check the tech library for the rubber lines, they are cheap).

And you'll be set to go

Rough Country's are the ones to look out for, the Tuff Country kit is actually the best of all the lower end kits b/c it uses an actual drop bracket, where's others use a drop plate and pose damage to your diff.

yeah it come with matching shocks, all i need is the brake lines..ill have pictures up soon. Another thing i was wondering about was a front mount reciever to put a winch on. ive researched it and cant find a front mount hitch. just for future refrence

I used brake lines out of a 91 f350 just had to bend the pipe at the bottom a little and they were like 30 bucks each

Any cheap places to get extended brake lines for a 4" lift? Idk if tuff country has them with their kit, but i need some for my lift and i figured this fit the topic anyways lol. Buying cheap ones wouldnt have any difference compared to if i spent twice the price on skyjackers, right?

the rubber extensions that are mentioned in the tech library are the cheapest route, and work just fine.

I had to do both the autozone lines and skyjackers extended lines.

Tuff Country doesn't have their own brand so go with either the rubber ones or if you have some extra cash some braided steel ones are great.
