The roof is painted, thats just frozen snow up there, was kinda cold around here for about a week or so. All I used for paint was the Krylon Fusion Satin black and it came out real good. Shows scratches pretty good but it is freakin durable, I show my paint no mercy. As for the rubbing, thats at full lock on the front wheels and the Rancho Arms, I didnt think they were rubbing til I took it out on the trail, oh well, its fine for now.
And Id say the lift is closer to 4" than 6". Either way I was going to have to cut shit, so the lower the better, IMO...

Racin- The build has been awesome. I went through all 14 pages. Great job on the swap. Still haven't figured out if i like the nava ho grille, but its definitely unique. Great job so far. Any more plans for it?

I love the 89-92 grille too, but I wanted too be a little different, and Id never seen a navajo grill on a ranger or B2, so i thought Id give it a shot. Not too sure if it goes with the boxyness of the B2 rear, but i think it looks good, some bumpers will tie it together.
As far as plans go. I wanna get a locker at least in the back, hopefully very soon, A winch and some plate bumpers, gears or a doubler, a custom roof rack and maybe some lights, Custom drop pitman (no $200 FA600 for me thanks) Stonecrusher type steering with TRE's instead of H-joints,. Im debating on whether or not to D44 SAS it or build the D35 and make it work, 44 outers, beefed, etc. I have my spare D35 laying next to my garage I was going to do some modding to. D44 parts are just so plentiful though, and I think a D44 up front would look killer on this rig. Basically I want to be able to take it wherever I can with 33-35" tires, I really dont wanna go beyond that.

sounds very much like i wanted for my ranger. I say go with the locker, definitely a doubler, and the D44 up front. An EB front would work VERY nice up there. That is what i would do if i built a B2 Bomber
Yeah, I was thinking doubler as well... that way I can have my stock gears which are great on the road, and also have some LOW out on the trail, best of all, I can do most of the work right in my garage for cheap. As far as the EB axle goes... im not too keen on that, I really am not a fan of LP front axles, and its easy to shorten a 78/79 axle, all you need is one new shaft, which is cheap, Id do that a million times before Id spend anything on an EB axle. I figure for now, Ill get the jeep springs, and later on, I can still use them for an SAS If I choose to go that route.

Hahaha, I dont know about that... Ill take a D35 TTB with 44ends before I put the PIG in her... Hell that'd be stronger anyway...

just like 4.0 said, you should still regear the axles down. With the 34's, freeway gears should be no less than 4.11's. I have 35's and am running 4.56's and i drive mine on the freeway everyday around 70-75 and get around 15 mpg.
I agree with the HP 44. The fact the pinion yoke is way out of the way is great. Plus, a stock exploder or Ranger front shaft will bolt right up.

Wait... Theres a d44 you can use an explorer shaft on? Keep the bolt pattern???

No, the high pinion D44. Keep the Explorer DRIVESHAFT, not axle shaft. Still changes lug pattern.
