Not really. I wish this thing was a Yota so I could just bolt everything on and get the fawk out wheelin'. All work and no play sure gets old. I decided to move the new tank forward of the axle. I'm in the process of cutting down the sending unit to make it work. Once the tank is in I can plumb the fuel lines and fire this thing off... that'll get me a little more motivated.

nice build, really clean fab work. im wanting to do a ranger cab on my b2 as well, prolly gonna run a flatbed on it. wish i could just keep the dam thing running good and ill be in business. how much do u lack before its up and running?

Glad to see this back up again! Since I first saw the thread I put a ranger cab on my bronco. I had a flatbed on it but it got ripped off yesterday wheeling so im going to start bobbing my bed. The truck has a 2 inch body lift so im hoping the bed will clear the tank. Very nice rig BTW. It was the driving inspiration behind mine.

Thanks for the compliments guys, much appreciated. Unfortunately I have yet to make any more progress since the last update. Still needs fuel lines and such to fire. I have a lot of stuff going on right now as well as other projects that aren't going smoothly, so this thing has been getting neglected.

Maverick, long time no talk.. idk if you remember or not but i asked you about the d30 probably 2 years ago. lol. i finally have a line up on the xj dana 30 and getting ready for the swap.. i like the idea of the radius arms instead of long arms for a jeep, just the price of the long arms were gonna kill my swap budget.. i'm a broke college kid. so i'm trying to look around and get all the final info the first time so i'm not buying parts 2-5 times.. i've just looked thru here and tried to pull out all the info. i'm loving this build!
my plan is a 4.88 dana 30, aussie, 35's probably.. maybe i missed it but what front coils did you use?

They are made for JBG by Deaver. I did hear that from the time I purchased my springs they have gone to a different spring rate, so you might want to call and inquire about that. The spring rate on my coils is 190lbs per inch. Any other questions feel free to ask.

I've had multiple Sami's, they are great little rigs. Unfortunately the wheelbase is a bit short for hardcore wheeling. Here's the last one I had:

It was a 94 fuel injected model, OME 2.5" springs, 1" Calmini shackles, 215/75 BFG's, Centerforce clutch, front Lock-Right, etc. It was fun as hell, but too clean for me to beat up, so I doubled my money on it

nice, my stepdad has one on 35's running toyota axles powered by a 3.8 buick with turbo 350 and toyota t-case wheelbase extended 6" or so.

next to my sisters spoa and 31's.

any more progress on your b2/ranger thing though?

No progress on the B2R unfortunately, my focus lately has been towards the exploder. A little more motivation for that since it runs. Don't get me wrong, I can't wait to have this thing done so I can go out and thrash on it, I'm just kind of burnt on it at the moment. I'm down to all the tedious B.S. I can't stand like plumbing fuel and brake lines, interior/mounting seats, etc. I really hope to have this thing done by summer, but I've been saying that for three years now so who knows.
